Rtn. Dr. Arati Biswal was former Head, P.G. Department of English, Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar. She retired from Class-1 of Odisha Education Service (O.E.S-I) in 2018. Rtn. Dr.Biswal taught at the undergraduate, Post graduate and M.Phil level for thirty seven years in prestigious Government colleges of Odisha at Ravenshaw College, Cuttack (now Ravenshaw University), Khallikote Autonomous College, Berhampur, R.D. Women's Autonomous College and later R.D.Women's University, Bhubaneswar. She has earned the reputation of a dedicated teacher and is committed to grooming the young to excel in academics as well as in leadership skills. She joined Rotary in 2018 and completed the RLI Graduate Course. She is an RLI Learning Facilitator since 2019. At the District level she has held positions of Editor, Governor’s Monthly Letter (GML, 2021-22); Co-chair Project Dignity (RILM), 2020-21 and Co-chair RYLA, 2020-21. She was Dist. Zonal Trainer 5-A for RY 2022-23. At the club level she has held the positions of Rotaract Advisor, Chair- Rotaract and Interact, Chair-Literacy and Editor- Club Magazine. She is fond of travelling, reading and takes keen interest in news and current affairs. As a Bahubali President she believes in “Carpe Diem,” to seize the day and to face challenges by being responsive and acting responsibly.
